As the founder of Sills Capital Group, James brings a mission-first mindset to commercial real estate — driven by discipline, grit, and a commitment to delivering strong returns for investors.

After years of serving others in both the military and corporate world, James realized it was time to serve a new mission: building generational wealth for his family and partners by investing in high-cash-flow commercial properties. With a focus on hotels, shopping centers, and value-add real estate, James leads deal sourcing, operations, and strategic vision for the firm.

What sets James apart is his ability to see opportunity where others see risk — identifying hidden value in underperforming assets and crafting bold but calculated plans to reposition them. With over 26 years of hospitality experience, she’s mastered the art of making people feel at home—whether it’s behind the front desk, leading teams through major transitions, or crafting guest experiences that turn first-timers into loyal regulars. Her career began at a vocational high school focused on hotel and restaurant management, and from day one, she knew this was more than just a job—it was a calling.

She’s worked across nearly every corner of the industry, earning a reputation for running smooth operations and creating warm, welcoming environments. But her passion for service doesn’t stop at hotel walls. For the last four years, she’s been deeply involved in programs focused on housing the homeless—bringing the same level of compassion, organization, and leadership to those in crisis as she has to guests on vacation.

Now, as she steps into a leadership role within our family’s real estate and hotel investment company, she brings with her a seasoned, service-first mindset. She’s not just here to manage guests—she’s here to elevate the standard of hospitality. Her vision blends community care with commercial excellence, and she’s already shaping the way we design, operate, and grow our portfolio of properties.

Jonathan’s journey has been shaped by discipline, leadership, and strategy—qualities forged through years of military service and sharpened on some of the most important stages in government and defense.

After graduating from Lincoln University and completing the ROTC program, Jonathan began his career in the Air National Guard before commissioning as an officer in the U.S. Army. Rising through the ranks, he served as a commander and later as the S6, responsible for communications and operational tech infrastructure—essential roles that demanded precision, problem-solving, and the ability to lead under pressure. Today, he holds the rank of Major and has served both in the Pentagon as an Army officer and as a civilian contractor, contributing to national operations at the highest level.

Jonathan brings that same level of tactical thinking and calm, decisive leadership to the world of business and real estate. His military background gives him a unique edge—he sees systems, not just structures. He understands how to lead teams, manage complex operations, and execute long-term plans with efficiency and integrity.

Now, as a founding member of our family’s real estate investment company, Jonathan applies his leadership and mission-oriented mindset to building something new: a portfolio of high-impact, cash-flowing commercial properties. Whether it’s managing investor relations, navigating due diligence, or strategizing for long-term growth, he brings clarity, structure, and a deep sense of purpose to every project.

Jeffrey brings a rare combination of analytical precision, financial savvy, and data-driven decision-making to our real estate business. A graduate of Missouri University of Science and Technology with a degree in Chemical Engineering, he’s always been drawn to numbers, systems, and the challenge of solving complex problems.

While his formal training was rooted in engineering, his passion quickly expanded to the world of finance. Over the years, he’s built a strong foundation in stock market investing—developing an eye for trends, patterns, and opportunities that others often miss. His love of spreadsheets, math, and quantitative analysis makes him an invaluable asset when it comes to evaluating deals, modeling returns, and managing risk.

In our company, Jeffrey is the steady hand behind the numbers. He digs deep into financials, pressure-tests assumptions, and ensures every move we make is backed by logic and sound strategy. His ability to translate complex data into clear insights helps guide smarter decisions and stronger investments.
